LP Standard Upgrade 50s Wiring

This 50s wiring kit includes long-shaft pots designed to fit modern Les Paul Standard guitars. Intended for regular Gibson USA production models, it is also available with high-quality yet affordable componets. It comes fully prepared for easy installation and includes the following parts:

 

-4 x CTS Soft Taper 500k or "'Burst Taper" 550k calibrated pots
-2 x Orange Drop or Bumblebee 0.22 uF caps.
-Vintage correct tinned copper buss wire

 

The 50s wiring configuration offers a unique advantage by preserving clarity when you roll down the volume pot, similar to a treble bleed circuit but without its inherent drawbacks. Additionally, it introduces a subtle interaction between the tone knobs and the volume pot as you turn the tone knob down, altering the response.
